Oils are heavy and expensive to transport around the country – especially across Cook Strait.

For the most efficient and cheapest shipping, we use Castle Parcels/Post Haste Couriers which is a 2-3 day delivery service throughout NZ (except rural). Freight charges on the web site are based on the weight per package delivered to your door.

For Auckland and regional (Whangarei to Hamilton) we use NZ Couriers which is an overnight service.

Orders can be collected from Osmo NZ Ltd warehouse at 218H Marua Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland. Warehouse hours are 9:00am – 2:00pm weekdays.

Goods are generally shipped to the buyer on same, or next business day via “Track and Trace” couriers. Courier costs are calculated on the weight, number of packages and destination of the order.

Orders are shipped from Auckland. Delivery can vary depending on location, but is usually 2-3 business days. Rural deliveries will generally take an extra day. Where goods are shipped inter island, the seller cannot be held responsible for delays in transit over Cook Strait. Bad weather can delay ferry sailings and add 1 or 2 days to the normal delivery time.

The clear exterior UV oils 410 and 420 have different purposes.

UV 410 contains no biocides, and can be used in areas where food may be present – such as timber outdoor tables and furniture etc. The finish is a low satin sheen.

UV 420 “Extra” contains biocides as an extra ingredient to help fight fungal and insect attack on exterior timbers. It should not be used in areas where food may be present. It is recommended for use on timber pergolas, joinery and soffits. The finish is a high satin sheen.

Orders submitted and approved by Osmo NZ Ltd may be cancelled without penalty up to the point where the order has been shipped to the address provided on the order. If payment has been made for the order, this will be refunded to the credit card or bank account used to pay. If the order has already been shipped to the address provided, and the customer decides to cancel the order, then the return of the product to Osmo NZ Ltd will be at the customer’s cost, and any refund will be made less any freight charges incurred for shipping the order. Refunds will not be made on any product which has been damaged or opened and used.

Liability for shortage in the quantity of goods delivered is limited to making up the shortage. Where the buyer believes there is a shortage in the quantity of product delivered, the buyer must notify Osmo NZ Ltd of any such claim within 7 days of delivery, and must provide Osmo NZ Ltd with a reasonable opportunity to investigate that claim.

Goods leaving Osmo NZ Ltd premises are adequately packed. Any loss or damage in transit must be notified to Osmo NZ Ltd who will then lodge a claim against the carrier in the prescribed manner.

No damage claims will be considered after 7 days of receipt of goods.
